Beaching your boat shouldn't be complicated.
Who wants to look for instructions just to work your shore anchor?
Don't spend your hours worrying about somebody tripping over the anchor line.
That's why we designed The Shore Thing - an intuitively designed, shovel-like shore anchor that stays level to the ground, and is perfect for all boats, dinghies and personal water-craft.
1. Press into Shore with Foot With The Shore Thing's shovel-like design you can easily insert The Shore Thing into the sand using just your foot. 100% Stainless Steal Construction withstands most ground conditions, rocks and hammers An angle of about 30 degrees to the ground maximizes ground hold. Always face the hinge towards your water-craft
2. Attach shoreline to your water craft Once your boat is secured to the shore, The Shore Thing anchor and line stay close to the ground for ideal shoreline safety. Attach one end of rope to The Shore Thing's hinge bar, and the other end to your boat's stern Colorful carrying bag clips to The Shore Thing while in ground for safety and convenience
3. Pull up to remove The Shore Thing's weight makes it easy for anybody to remove it from the ground. Disconnect rope from hinge bar first Grab hinge bar and gently wiggle The Shore Thing back and forth while pulling upwards.
4. Store in nylon bag on water-craft The Shore Things' compact, "lay-flat" design makes it easy to store. Compacts to 10" X 14"
